I'm an eighth grade student trying to choose a highschool. My choices are Shawnee Regional High school or BCIT. BCIT of medford gives you the experience of the job your choosing and helps you narrow down the options to see what career is best for you. It has the job choices I want and you wake up later. The down side is the academics at Shawnee are apperently better. There is a stricter dress code and whats worse is none of my friends plan on going/ applying. (You must get accepted). Shawnee on the other hand has teachers that had my older brother before, has the majority of my friends, and apparently has a better academic program. Shawnee has electives as well where as in BCIT, you choose your job, and thats your elective they give the best courses. But what looks better on a college application? Career wise I would think BCIT. Academic wise I would say Shawnee. This is a very tough decision. And I need your opinion. And please weigh the pros and cons based on education as well as uniforms and friends. Remember what looks better on an application? Thank you so much!
